I've seen plenty of posts about making hex forms, none about making a 5 sided.  Does the groove have to be cut on a mill.  Can it be done with a file?  Is there a file that is 73.5 degrees?  (Bill Tagye)

To make a pentagonal form one must be able to cut a left hand groove of 54 degrees, a right hand groove of 54 degrees and an interior apex angle of 72 degrees. See drawing page 64 of "Constructing Cane Rods".  (Ray Gould)
