Has anyone had any experience with using Epon (rather than Devcon 5 minute) epoxy to attach ferrules. Does anyone have any thought as to whether the adhesive used will help prevent casting fractures.  (Dave Alexander)

I have used an Epon sold by the now defunct Munro Rod Co. on ferrules. It is doing well but it took forever to set up when installing. If you want some others options you can use Pliobond (Dave’s instructions are a must) Ferrule-Tite, or JB Weld. JB Weld really seems to work well and is readily available and can be remove will a little heat.  (Adam Vigil)
