My name is Harold Maxwell, go by 'Max". I have been on the list now for a couple years since first learning of it. It is my desire to go to Harry's place and build my first rod. I was hoping to get there this summer and if there is an opening around July I may have that opportunity. I currently am in my last semester and will have my BA this May.... at the young age of fifty something  :)  I fell in love with fly fishing and took a course offered at Western Kentucky University during the summer on fly tying  and  fly fishing... been hooked ever since. I purchased five different rods in the first year of fishing and then got one of Boyd's 5 wts. Now those rods keep each other company in the corner of the room as I only fish with the boo. Yep, gonna build one some day! In the meantime I will keep lurking and learning what I can.
