Hey there fellow rod makers, been a bit since I've built a 3 piece rod, can anyone give me the cut off rule for 3 piece rods, 16 & 11 Super Z ferrules?  (Jerry Andrews)

I remembered the process as soon as I started. Female seating for both, added, divided by 3 sections, does that sound about right?  (Jerry Andrews)

I don't build many 3 pieces, but I think it's add the 2 seating lengths and divide by 2 ferrules, not 3 sections  (John Channer)
