Probably a good moment to  mention this.  Last night around 11:30, I finally got two 72" bars of steel tapped and I manged to get all the screws and bolts inserted and, as far as I can tell, I'm ready to get the files out to flatten the bars and then put a groove in them. Yeah yeah yeah... I haven't accomplished that much since joining the list almost two years ago. But I'd also never used a drill press or a tap wrench or worked with cold-rolled steel, and I'm still savoring that "voila!" moment last night when I opened and closed the forms. I really needed and, I'm happy to say, I've gotten a whole lot of help from numerous folks here, who patiently shared their knowledge and experience about all sorts of stuff both on and off the list. You're a great bunch of guys. Thank you!
