I hand wrap my rods after final planing, to look for problems.   Of course I tie off each end.   I was unwrapping one last night and got to the end.   I decided to push the knot off rather than cut it off.   Bad move.

I know I've got a nice 60d corner.  Sharp enough to slice open my thumb!!!  Oh well.  (Terry Kirkpatrick)

I have a small irritating splinter buried deep in my index finger from doing exactly the same thing. it has been there more than a year now despite frequent attempts to 'dig' it out.  (Steve Dugmore)
