I posted a while back I was looking for some classic spinning reel seat rings for a couple of split cane spinning rods (GASP!!) I was building. Not able to find vintage ones or any thing suitable from the rod building catalogs, I contacted Dave Le Clair. I sent him a couple of photos of the vintage rings I had with the specs, he responded right away with a very reasonable price and I had what I needed in a week’s time. Super guy to work with and beautiful job. I have a set of his ferrule cutters and they are also great. I just want to let you guys know what a great job he does. Thanks Dave. (Mark Heskett)
